Did you swim as a child and want to refresh your skills?
Are you swimming now but don't feel like you are advancing?
Our classes are structured to improve the skills you already have! Our instructors
have been teaching swimming for over 18 years and can help you evaluate your strengths
and weaknesses.
Foundation Level 2
Class Requirements: 18 and older, Foundation
Level 1
Now that you have the knowledge and practice at the foundational level it is time
to put this knowledge into action.
Endurance prep is great for anyone that would like to swim for fitness, triathlon,
join a local Masters swim group or swim for rehab purposes. We will be focusing
on maintaining balance as you increase your yardage (continued swimming) while maintaining
proper stroke technique. Maintaining efficiency is what is going to get you what
you say you want. Maybe that looks like swimming lap swim for 1/2 hr-hour, swimming
a 1/2 mile or mile in your next triathlon or just plain swimming for fun.
The more efficient a swimmer gets the faster the swimmer gets and expends far less
energy doing so. Your coach will be right by your side teaching you how to create
harmony in a workout setting by teaching lane etiquette, how to use a pace clock,
establish intervals, advanced skills and most importantly how to have fun! Class
is held twice a week.
